ABOUT THE AUSIT INDUSTRY EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Are you a translator/interpreter or language service provider?
If so, we encourage you to think about suitable initiatives to submit. These can be your own work or initiatives in which several parties collaborated, or work done by a colleague that warrants recognition. You know best where you have done excellent work, so there is no need to wait to be nominated. All you need to do is follow the entry requirements set out for each category and prepare your submission. The merits of each submission will be assessed by the AUSIT Awards jury.
If you are using the services of interpreters/translators and/or language service providers and have come across a performance or initiative that you think merits recognition, you can nominate the respective practitioner or organisation. AUSIT will then invite your nominee to make an Award submission, which means that they will need to provide details of the nominated project in accordance with the entry requirements.
Practitioners going about their work may consider their achievements as normal and they may need the extra encouragement provided by you to enter the Excellence Awards. By encouraging outstanding work, you will help to promote quality and high industry standards, Moreover, you will help to highlight work you believe is worthy of an award.
